The Munday Club is a vibrant community for adults in the Kilburn area of Amber Valley,

 dedicated to creating a warm and welcoming environment where seniors can connect, socialse, 

and enjoy a range of events and activities. Our mission is to foster friendship, fun, and fulfillment

 for our members, promoting active and healthy aging through engaging social experiences

1. Exploring the Benefits of Social Interaction 

Improved Mental Well-Being

Social interaction can reduce the risk of depression and cognitive decline among the older generation, promoting overall mental wellness.

Enhanced Physical Health

Engaging in social activities can lead to increased physical activity, improved mobility, and better overall health for seniors.

Sense of Belonging and Purpose

Socialising provides a sense of belonging, purpose, and fulfillment, combating loneliness and promoting a positive outlook on life for older individuals.

May 22nd - National Arboretum Staffordshire. - £10.00 - 10.00 am


June 19th - Bridlington - Yorkshire

£25.00 - 07.30 am


July 25th - Loughborough + Cream Tea, coach to Loughborough, train from  Loughborough to Leicester - coach from Leicester back home £10.00  + £42.00 train with cream tea.  time TBA - total cost for coach + train + Tea = £52.00

Social Interest Groups

Connect with like-minded individuals through a range of interests. Meet up on every other week on a Monday.

From January 8th 2024 enjoy playing Cards, Domino's a Raffle Draw, Bingo, Tea, Coffee, Biscuits, and a entertaining quiz.

Community-based Club.

The Munday Club is open to all older adults who are members of the local Horsley Denby Coxbench Smalley or Kilburn area community.

New to the area or with no close friends nearby? Don't be alone with no company. Come along to make new friends at The Munday Club.

Coach Outings Most Months

trips out to markets, towns & city's, seaside resorts, mystery trips, music concerts & meals out.

We meet every other Monday afternoon from 2 pm until 4 pm on Church street Kilburn Derbyshire in the Village Hall.

Come along don't be glum meet us have a laugh and join in the fun.

We also occasionally have 

guest speakers giving information on everything from gardening to fire safety in the home, guest singers

 


Visits to Different Events & City's .

Increase your mobility by visiting events or other city's with other members 

Be prepared on trips out for a group photo, which may be professionally organised by our club member Huey.

Annual Membership is only £5.00

With a Fee of £2.50 per meeting. 

Tea, Coffee, Biscuits.

Prize Bingo with prizes,

Trivia Quiz with prize for top brainy team.
